Ben--Joe Miller, in an extended care facility in Astoria, Ore wants to wish all of his 517th friends a very Merry Christmas.  The Email's that are given to him each day are really appreciated and gives him much pleasure to read.  It is as wonderful camaraderie that you all have that is a balm to the soul.  Many good wishes to you all for the wonderful friendships you have continued for so many years.

Oscar and I want to wish you and your family and all those on your 517th
roster a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Also wanted to tell you that I just read again the Malmedy Massacre in the
History Place - World War Two in Europe, and I still have tears in my eyes -
though I have read this numerous times.

Again, I want to tell you how very thankful we are that you are doing us
such a great service - ie.
