Ben - The number of posthumous awards from WWII and after gave me pause. I want to thank all of you again, for making us aware that freedom is NOT free. mark landreth

Ben ---- at "my" advanced age, have misplaced the info you sent re: the Portland reunion.  Wanted to make our hotel reservations and also register for the reunion plus the "excursions" --- but alas! when our fellow paratrooper, Les, called and wanted to know which trips we were going to take - the printed copy we had made from your Mail Call was AWOL.  Would appreciate it if you could send out another --- thanks

Ben,  What a wonderful piece on the CMH..It was great to read about our
own CMH winner, Melvin Biddle. Those of us who have attended reunions in
the past, have had the honor and pleasure of meeting Melvin.  I have had
the additional pleasure of seeing his name listed among the other CMH
winners at the Pentagon.  WE of the 517th family are so proud of him.

 Good Morning Mr. Barrett,
I was curious, is this how the 517 jumped into France.

Thanks for all your hard work

Jay
