Ben, when I saw the names Joy Bryceson and Gene Camplin, it sparked lots of memories.  Joy, of course, is the daughter of Gene, neither of which I have  seen for several years.  In Gene's active days, we exchanged memories  at different reunions for we were in the same company.  Sometime in the past year, I did call Gene for some information or other and we had a chat about our mutual limitations, particularly his eyesight.  If you have Joy's email address, I perhaps could exchange information  with her for Gene.  I have, for instance the email and or phone # for the widow of Ed Jolly which family is a close friend of the both of us.  Anyway, Joy, like many other extended family members, does well for the parent that has not become active online.
The best to you, Ben.  Walt (ww to Camplin) Smith

Dear Dick, I am terribly remiss in not writing you sooner. I did not know of Ginny' death until I read the T-Bolt a few days ago.  I don't know how I missed that announcement in the mail call.  But my love and support for you and family is no less sincere.  I am deeply grateful to have been able to know Ginny.  She was such a lovely and gracious lady, always.  She is home and safe in Heaven now, with our Lord and all the Lords Angels, for which we can be assured of salvation.  My heart is with you in these days of grieving and remembering.  God Bless. Subject: Veterans Affairs Services (UNCLASSIFIED)

CSM's, the SMA asked that I forward this information on to each of you for dissemination to your Soldiers.

We have been advised by the VA of an organization calling itself Veterans Affairs Services (VSA).  This organization is gathering personal information on veterans under a va services website.  This organization is not affiliated with the VA in any way and in reality is a private company based in California.

It describes itself as a nonprofit veteran's service organization but they are actually affiliated with the Military Financial Planning association.  They may be gaining access to military personnel through their close resemblance to the VA name and seal.

VA's legal counsel has requested we inform our installations, particularly mobilization sites of this group and their lack of affiliation or endorsement by VA to provide any services.

In addition, if you have any examples of VAS acts such as VAS employees assisting veterans in the preparation and presentation of claims for benefits, please pass these on to Michael.Daugherty2@va.gov, (202) 273-8636.  Mr. Daugherty is a Staff Attorney with the Department of Veterans Affairs here in Washington D.C.  I am attaching an info paper describing the company and their websites.  Please pass this along to your Commands.

Dear 517 veterans

These two pictures were taken somewhere in southern France, and apparently show men of I company. Could
anybody confirm this is I company, and if yes, does anyone recognize any faces? (Franck Dallas, Marvin
Moles, etc...)

Thanks in advance
Jean-Loup Gassend
