Bob Cooper
SOLDIER'S FUNERAL TEXAS STYLE
Tom Reber
Friends,
Attached is the roster which I have updated
today. I have not yet had time to read the most recent Thunderbolt for
additional updates, but I am current with all e-mail requests.
I am driving back to the Columbus area again tonight,
to once again attempt to save a struggling project. I am implementing a
start-up warehouse for a major appliance manufacturer on very little
notice. Nothing is ready and I am buying critical office supplies out of
pocket just to get by. It is not a good situation at all. I got into
the warehouse 2 business days prior to the operation's first ramp up day, and I
had to scramble to get the storage lines painted on the floor on the half of the
building that isn't already stuffed with washers. I was preceded by a
great deal of leadership turnover, prior to my arrival. I wonder what I
did to deserve this.
It's all baby steps, but the appliance company wants
full speed -- now. Don't be surprised if I change jobs again. I
don't work well this way. As all of the troopers know all too well, a
failure to plan means a plan for failure.
Anyway, I will be slow to respond again, so bear with
me. I can keep up the Main Roster and the attached workbook, but if
the Auxiliary needs roster maintenance of some sort, I have be honest and I will
have to defer any additional responsibilities until such time that I get some
routine back to my life. Hopefully, somebody within the Auxiliary
will step up and take over that roster, independent of the main
roster.
Good news, Wisconsin (7-1) continues to win.
Their only loss was to #2 Michigan (led until 4th qtr) and they do not have Ohio
State on the schedule this year. They still have Howard Hensleigh's
beloved Hawkeyes ahead of them as well as Illinois, Penn State and
Buffalo. The first year head coach is doing better than I
expected.
Best wishes to all,

Hello Tom,
I will be glad to help you out on the Aux. side in
keeping the Roster up to date. I may not be as good as you do it, but I
will do my best. I certainly hope that things settle down for you, and
sooner rather than later.
Stay in touch from time to time, and
good luck with the new job.

Ben, Thanks for your quick reply. Now I am able to make my
hotel
reservations for Fla. Will do the same for D.C. in July after the
Fla.
reunion. If there is anything I could do to help, just let
me know.
Looking forward to seeing you and the rest the crowd in
Kissimmee.
