Dear Ben,   That was really nice - your printing  Bill Myer's poem.  Thanks.   Sgt. Bill Myers was my husband's Sergeant.   My husband was First Lt. Annon (Andy) Jorgen.   They were in E-Company.   The last I knew Bill was still alive.   I found Bill after Andy died.  Bill he wrote me ever-so much information about what they were involved in during the war.  I believe he wrote this poem during combat somewhere.
