Hi Ben,
I would give my right knee to be able to come to the reunion because I have a torn miniscus and it has taken a turn for the worse. I am already on strong pain meds for degenerative disc disease and my knee hurts worse than anything. Right now I am not planning on being at the reunion but I still might surprise us both. Who do I contact in case I do want to go at the last minute? My wife doesn't want to go and I would need her help if I can go. I had such a great time at the last reunion in Washington DC and I hate missing this one. I know Lory Curtis will be there and Bob Dodds was planning on going but I haven't heard from him for awhile . I haven't met Bob yet and there are other people that I would like to see again like Morris and Lory's brother ,Tim. Send me the Hotel info and hopefully I will be able to go! I know a man has to be tough to be a paratrooper and I will try!   Thanks Ben !!

Hi Ben,
I am responding to the mail call sent by Chris Lindner about the cave with metal doors. In Lory Curtis's book" Letters Home" A Paratroopers Story, there are pictures of a tunnel with a metal door on it where Bud Curtis stayed for a time in Col de Braus, Southern France. The pictures are on pages 179 and 270. It may be the place that his son ,Ricky, was describing. Today is June 14th and I still have not received the first edition of the Thunderbolt and I hear the second edition is also about ready! Will whomever is responsible for mailing them out "please with sugar on top" send me a copy??? I did pay for the thunderbolt last fall along with a donation but never received any copies ! Thank You !!  Chris, I hope that this information helps you. If you don't have the book contact Lory Curtis or maybe he can e-mail you the pictures.
