Hi Ben,
The St. Louis reunion
was fabulous. Thanks to everyone for their hard work! We wanted to
say a special thanks to the Marvin Moles' family. His daughters and
son-in-law supplied bunches of food and drink for the hospitality room.
So
thanks Diane and Mark Lynch and Teresa and Donna!!! Dad and mom, Bob and
Pat Vaught, I company, enjoyed seeing everyone and touring the city and, of
course, watching the young paratroopers. My niece, Nicole Norman enjoyed
seeing everyone again also and can hardly wait for the next reunion.
Thanks Ben, for all you do for the 517th! Teresa Cobble

Ben this has to be the best I have ever seen. I read
several books about WWII but this forward told me much more then I ever got out
of books. Every person that ever served in Europe must see this. And
yes, their families too.

W II. This is cool-- European theater only.
You will have to use attachment in this Mail Call to view this as

Ben:
I heard recently from Bill
Westbrook's wife Jeanne that Bill died on July 7th.
In March 1943, he along with a number
of others, had come from the 101st in Ft. Bragg as cadre to establish Btry
C of the 517th. He was a S/Sgt in the Instrument Section.
Enjoy yourself in Tahoe but don't
forget to come back.
Greetings to Fran and
Family.
