Hello Ben, Please keep the e-mails coming. I look
forward to them, and must have over 50 saved in my computer. Thank you, and the
other 517th Vets for sharing with the rest of us, such a rich and proud history.
My best wishes to you and yours.-"Airborne All The Way"--Ray

Oh great, I hope you enjoyed it. I was going to
tell you if you like, would you mind listing the video in one of your mail
calls? I will send the video to any veteran who would like to share his story or
pictures with me and I'll pay for postage. I want NO money for the video
just a chance to hear or read some of their histories.
Thank you and have a great day,
The video showcases different WWII Museums and Memorials set to some big
band music.

Grandfather

Hello, my name is Joseph James Kage. I'm trying
to find some information on my great grandfather who my grand father has said he
was in the Battling Buzzards. His name was James Joseph Kage and the only
information I have is very little. Kage, James J, b.
05/29/1913, d. 08/31/1976, US Army, TEC 5, Plot: L 0 5184, bur. 09/03/1976, this
was copied and pasted off the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery St. Louis
Missouri. It says he was TEC 5, but I seem to remember also being told
that he was in the 82nd airborne division, this is all very confusing to
me. Their is a story that my family tells about the battle of the bulge
where my great grandfather was running and triped over a tree stump and had part
of a root go though his leg and he was forced to hide out in an attic of some
friendly villigers. Wether or not that is true, I do not know but I would
love to find out any information I could. I do have two horrible phot os
that I will send and I will apologise in advance because they are truly
horrible but I'm hoping that maybe you could help me with the uniform's that
they are wearing and so on. Any help would be greatly appreciated for
information on my family's surname is scarce. My last name is pronounced
(kahh-gee) if that helps at all.
Thank you so much
Joseph J. Kage
