With our best wishes for the new
year, I send a few photos of the ceremonies in St Jacques and Logbiermé.
Yesterday, Saturday jan 3d. During the Holy Mass, Maria GASPAR had special
prayers for all of you and for all the victims. It was a very special moment, we
were greatly moved as Maria was speaking emotionally with tears in her eyes, she
told her souvenirs of the Battle and the sacrifices of the young US soldiers.
During the ceremonies at the monuments, Mayor Jean-Luc GABRIEL made speechs
about the battles. Many people and authorities attended the ceremonies. Lots of
love to you. Irma and Arnold

Ben: Happy New Year! Mr. Ellis' email from the
unknown author gave those of us who have not been in battle an epiphany of

We received the Thunderbolt Saturday the 3rd.
Caire and Helen have done a magnificent job again. We can't thank them
enough for the time they put into this project and the love they have for the
517th.
Glad to know that you didn't get snowed in at Lake
Tahoe. We had snow in Las Vegas, 3 inches is a lot of snow for this valley
and they even closed the schools for the day. The kids loved
it.
