Ben -

Wow!!!  Thank you, thank you to Karen Reece, Mark Landreth and Joe Combest!  They offered to help with the Morning Report archiving, and we are most appreciative!

Thank you all so much for volunteering your time for the fantastic cause of preserving the history of the 517th!  We cannot thank you enough!

Message (without smileys):
My uncle Sgt. Robert E. Needham recently passed away and was in the 517th B
Co. Parachute Combat Team. I am in possession of a few items that belonged to (
him, a few photos (w/ names on the back), a booklet about the 517th w/ some
signatures). I am looking for the names of his buddies as I look through
this sight. ie: Melvin Biddle of Anderson, In. is one of the signatures in
the book. And yes, it was Co. B.

Hi Ben,

Hope this email finds you and your family happy and well. You may be
aware of these links already, but Tom and I were talking this evening
and he suggested I send them along to you. I was just surfing around on
the internet and found a bunch of 517 re-enactment pictures on the links
below. If you go to the dogface45 link there are 89 pages of pictures of
"re-enactments" of the 517th's travels.

We think about you often and hope to see you again at another 517th
reunion.

With Love,

Jim Jennis & Mary Cross (Tom Cross' Son in law and daughter)
