Dear Ben - This message
from Herb Reichwald of the 596. Due to medical circumstances, we will not
be able to attend the Utah reunion in Salt Lake. Tomorrow I will be having
my right knee replaced. To top t off, Marie has fallen and is now in a
cast with a broken bone in her right hand. We send greetings to everyone and
hope you have a great reunion! Sorry we can't be there but that's
life.

... a couple of weeks ago there were
some questions about John Holbrook... He is mentioned in this issue in a story
that Al Goodman had written about Bergstein. It looks like he was a member of
the 3rd Squad of the 3rd platoon of the 596 with Al, and Lyle "Gus"
Madison
I know Al is gone,
but I believe Lyle Madison is still around.
