I just found out this week that the guestbook was broken. No one has been able to post for a long time. I fixed it. - Bob

What a wonderful web site! Thanks to all who made it possible for me to learn more about my uncle, who I never had the pleasure of knowing. His name was Pvt. Al D. Baggett, 2 BN HQ. He was KIA Sept of 1944. From Louisiana. He was at LSU on a football scholarship when he enlisted. That sums up almost everything I know about him. If you knew Al, I'd be most grateful to hear your remembrances of him and of your service together. Thank you.

Beautiful photos. What do you think of the poem? - Ben

By the way, if you care, it isn’t really from Gabriel Garcia Marquez.  http://www.museumofhoaxes.com/marquez.html

Merle and Mardi McMorrow

Ben:
Our condolences to Babbie and her wonderful family.

Mardy had only known Bill since the year 2000.  She never failed to come up behind him and whisper in his ear "You are my hero".  All she ever got was a deep-throat growl.  She was determined to make him smile and she eventually was able to accomplish that at one of the reunions.  She told him had Babby not rushed into the marriage she could have done so much better.  He shook with internal laughter, looked up at her, broke into a smile and said, "I don't doubt but you are right."

We all knew Bill's deeds would live on long after he was gone.  These deeds are a part of recorded history.
