Hi Ben,
I will be bringing Myrle home from Rehab on Wednesday.  He is still unsteady on his legs and  isn't eating and has lost so much weight so I believe that it is time for him to come home to his familiar surroundings.  Our son will stay for another week or two to help me.  Please relay our thanks to all of the 517th family for their prayers.

Ben, we haven't received the DVD's and I thought we would have them by now.  How can I check on this?

Betty Traver

Ben,
I, too, believe that his recovery will be faster at home.  I also think that his appetite will improve with some home cooking.    I will contact Wade about the DVD's.  You are such a beautiful person for all that you have done and continue to do for the 517th family.
I haven't seen anything from Gen Seitz lately.  Is he okay?  Myrle thinks so highly of him.

 Hello Ben,

I am reading Monday's Mail Call, and regarding Bernice Cook's question regarding the Roster.  I have her present address on my T'bolt Roster unless they have moved in the last two months.  Perhaps she is thinking of another Roster?
______________

I referred  Bernice to Tom Reber for Roster change. Bernice you should also contact HelenHbeddow@cs.com for T'Bolt  with new address

Thanks for the trip down Memory Lane. It was great to see them again. My hip operation ( 2nd time ) is scheduled for Tues.Dec.8th. I just hope and pray that it will not dislocate when they are finished this time.
Thanks again for Wade's e-mail address as I really want to get that copy of the interviews of the men of the 517th PRCT.
Best wishes, Don Saunders

Dear Patricia:

We returned from Colorado yesterday and I visited with the Language Department at Fargo North High School.  They teach Chinese, Latin, German, Spanish and French.

I spent most of the time with the woman who teaches French.  Her name is Mogan Bain and her email address is bainm@fargo.nd.k12.us and her phone number is 1-701-446-2479.  She will contact you or you can contact her.  I will give her your email address.

She viewed our website and I showed her your picture.  She is very excited about the possibilities and benefits your class in Sospel and the one here in Fargo might be able achieve through mutual contact with each other.

The Language Dept. will provide Morgan with any assistance she may need to make this project successful.

Our best wishes to you and Roland.

Ben & Helen:

The little girl (Chloe)  that made the silk scarf for me sent a letter thanking me for the package I sent to her.  It is a little difficult to read the attachment I have sent so I will type the letter.  I furnished her with pictures showing her the scarf mounted with other material hanging on a wall in my office.

Dear Veteran

I hope you are in great health.  For me it is well.  The start of the new school year was very well.

I have begun school in middle class No. 7 and I have the same teacher as last year.

I have started again my (can't decipher) provence and oriental dances.

I was very glad when I receive my parcel with your cap full of pins, the photographs, the letter, and also the purse to my name with the very beautiful medal inside.  Thank you very much.

I am glad my scarf had so delighted you.

                                  kisses   Chloe.
