Hello,

Trying to send since 9;00 Am PCT

Attempt to catch up with Mail received. May have to send out several Mail Calls to include all and if the computer grinch allows it. It's inevitable that I will miss out on some I have received much mail from our friends in France and Belgium with Christmas good wishes. May not be able to include all the cards.

Please send links  when possible. It saves me for searching for the link and saves space on Mail Call.

Donations for whatever program involving the 517th should be sent to our treasurer Leo Dean at 14 Stonehenge Lane, Albany 12203

Please let me know if you want to receive Mail Calls or if you have a problem receiving them. You can always read back Mail Calls  by clicking on www.517prct.org/archives

Ben,
I am finally back on track and email. You knew I was back in
grammar school again? In respect to your email problems, I checked
back mail and I found the following:

Mail Call "problems solved"   No number      Dec 22
Test  "re 1941"        No number      Dec 22
                                               1921                     22
               "problem sending"      No number      Dec19
                                               1941                     19
I know "yo all" worry about the email system (which we have little
control of whether it does what it is supposed to do or not). Just
keep in mind at the receiving end, we all appreciate every thing that
you are able to put in. We all apologize for the troubles we cause
you.
From all of us, another "Thank You" for your and all the Barrett's
efforts. You and the Barrett's are the pulse and lifeblood of the
"survivors" of the 517th vets and Association members.
A Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all. God Bless
   Gene Frice, (Survivor) F Company

Merry Christmas to all.  Here in Jacksonville it's raining but nice and warm.  This forward was on my computer today (Christmas).  I watched it and just had to send it on before I looked at the other messages.  To me it is amazing how the foreign people still remember and honor those of us that faugh in the Battle of the Bulge.  While this short film is of a different unit then the 517 they were also part of our great Army and the reason that we speak English today.
