Ben;
Norton's Anti Virus is Cheap at $49.00 but you usually get a discount it is good for a year and if you register your purchase they send updates directly to your computer ever so often. I lost all my records in June to a magistr virus  because I didn't know that my anti virus had expired. Luckily my Gateway was still in warranty had to take to them to reinstall my hard drive didn't cost me but they had my computer for 15 days. Trying to fix it with Tech support messed it up so bad it had to be reinstalled.
     Hope this helps so some of the guys will be sure to have an Anti Virus program installed.
Bob

In mail call 380 Gene Brissey has done a terrific job in describing one of
the most importat and successful operatios of the 517 in Southern
France, the capture of La Roquette.  La Roquette was situated
on dominating terrain over looking the wide flowing Var river where the
Germans had intended to make their final stand in the South of France.
By capturing the city and the dominating terrain around the town the
Germans were forced to withdraw many miles to the East to a position at
Sospel.  Bob Newberry, Gene and all the other great troopers of E Company
did a brilliant job in capturring a very important objective and
capturing a couple hundred German and  sustaining only a few E company
casualties.  A big well done to Gene and all the troopers of  Company E.

             Why does everyone in Co E remember the lost baseplate that Gene talked about.  Well I was the one that dropped it.  I slipprd on a rock in the river and as I went down dropped the baseplate to save myself.  When we set up the morter after the crossing we used a large flat rock.  Thank goodness we did not have to use it that day.  I was given a new baseplate almost immediately and told not to drop it......
