A POINT OF INTEREST, THE 2ND BN HQ COMPANY HAD THE LARGEST GROUP AT THE MINI.  THE FOLLOWING WERE IN ATTENDANCE:  DOROTHY MACKKENZIE, JUNE HUFFMAN, EMMIE AND HUNTER McDONALD, JACK COLLINS, IRENE AND SAM POVICH, BETTY AND TOM CROSS, DARRELL EGNER.

This is in answer to the inquirer, who's looking for some one, who knows
Dervyn Muth.

The Muth I knew was in HQ. CO, 1ST BN, 517, ( Machine Gun Platoon ). He
was married 
on our last furlow before we went overseas.  He was killed near the end
of the
Battle of the Bulge. I also know he was from Washington State.

I don't remember his first name being Dervyn, we called him Muth.  Write
me if the things I wrote above are true and I would be happy to tell you
more.
