Dear Ben, Harry Saunders' daughter again. I wrote you about dad entering the hospital a while back. Things aren't progressing as well as we would like and dad is back in intensive care. Needless to say they are going to miss Oklahoma City. I am wondering if you can stop his Mail Call until he can notify you, it will save a lot on his e-mail. I've been here for three weeks and am going home tomorrow. I get Mail Call and will save them for dad , as he enjoys them so much.Thank you all so much and God Bless to all you heros, past, present, and future. Judy Sinnings rockran@fidnet.com

      Dear Mr.Barrett,
Thanks for putting my e-mails on mail call.  Sorry the first one was so long.  Also, I hope I didn't step on any 517th member's toes by getting "Too Political" in my e-mail.  That's just my views and I respect the views of others as long as they don't try to force them on me.  I just heard (@ about 5:00 AM my time-Central) that yesterday, a Shanook (sp?) Hellocoptor went down w/ 3 or 4 Americans soldiers and 8 British soldiers all killed.  I morn for both groups of soldiers and their families equally.  Great Brittan has been really supportive in our past skirmishes.  God bless the families of the soldiers lost in the war yesterday.
      Sincerely,
      Chris Liddell

Subj: Added research info to web site
Date: 3/21/2003 11:51:46 AM Eastern Standard Time
From: rbarrett@alum.mit.edu
To: ben517@aol.com

Dad,

I recently added a page onto the web site on how to do some basic research about a particular soldier, using resources already on the web site.  Basically, I am telling people how to find the info that is there, and encouraging them to do this before sending an email -- "Does anyone remember John  Smith".  In most cases, they should be able to at least identify the Company that the soldier was part of, which can then help them get further info and focus their research.

The new page is:  http://517prct.org/research.htm

In reply to Boom Boom's 3/19 mail call entry, I am wearing my dog tags, and those of my father (Joe) on the outside also.
Thanks,

You know the world's gone mad when the best rapper is a white guy, the best golfer is a black guy, the Swiss hold the America's Cup, France is accusing the USA of arrogance, and the Germans don't want to go to war!
