Dear Ben,

I will keep up the roster of friends and relatives of the 517th.  Is it an Excel spreadsheet?  No matter.  You can count on me.  Just let me know your guidelines and objectives and I'll be glad to help.

Best regards,

Tom Reber

Bill is referring to the photo that was sent to us by Dave Knee Jr. It is a photo of Jesus while in the distant background we see Washington, Pershing, Eisenhower and MacArthur while on his right side is a World War 11 soldier kneeling in prayer.-Ben

Note to Howard Hensleigh: My email is  bojoco@att.net and Jo Anne, my mother's is joher@adelphia.net .   Yes I was born August 17, 1944 --- and when Dick Spencer came home to Mom and me, Mom would say, "Where's Daddy?" --- and I would run to the photo of him in the frame! What a good memory you have for remembering the frame incident! BJ Spencer

_-Ben,

Can you please post Brandon Gray's email on the next Mail Call.  He would

tears they are so heart-warming......Thank you!

Messages are now loud and clear, even  bright clear print.  I can't
imagine why they were transmitting lavender or grey on black background.
Thanks for the 517 news, always good to keep up with the troopers.  You
are doing a great job! Thanks.

Dear Howard:  Thank you to a very respected member of the Bar as well as a great 517th paratrooper for your warm welcome.  It is hard to pry things out of my Dad so we get great insights from Mail Call.  Thank you for sharing.
I'm not sure if you are aware or not, but Dad will receive the Gen. Creighton Abrams award from the Association of the United States Army in DC on October 6th.  Alan and I plan to attend and if any members of the 517th are there we would love to say hello.  My brother and sisters and I enjoyed very much our surprise visit to your reunion several years ago in Kansas City (I believe that is where it was)!
Our thanks to Ben for putting out the Mail Call.
Sincerely, Pat Seitz and Alan Greer
