I am so sorry to tell you that Joe died while snorkeling with the family in Hawaii on November 3rd.  We had all gone there on a family vacation and on the very last day a very strong tide pulled him too far out.  He was such a sweet, intelligent, creative, astute, gentle man and so loved by so many people that he will be always be remembered.

How I found the 517th page: A friend told me
Comments: Sgt. Cecil Dotty, I am writing to you on behalf of the picture with my grandfather in it. As you may have guessed, my grandfather is Pvt. George R. Monkhouse. I never met him because he died in the early 70's, way before I was born. I just want to thank you for the picture.
