Brett Stadler,

Hi Ben,

I hope all is well with you and the 517th family.  Post-Navy life is going
ok for myself and the family, we now reside in Charlottesville VA.  I do
miss taking care of so many veterans like I did in the military.  Would you
mind checking the mailcall list for my dad, he hasn't been receiving
mailcall for some reason.  He is at grandstadlers@msn.com

Thanks so much!
Warm regards,
Brett Stadler

Ben, Had a long talk with Donna. I haven't been able to contact her for over a week. I found out why. To add to her heath problems, her father, Silas Brown lost the roof of his house to "Charley". She has had trouble receiving and sending messages.  Her mail service is erratic also.  She sent me some more Thunderbolts for replacements to send to those who didn't receive them but I have not as yet received them.  I have resent 12 of them so far including to Jack Dunaway.  It looks like we are going to miss the worst of "Ivan". That would have been adding insult to injury. I'm not sure if I sent you the price of the Pirates Dinner Theater including transportation. It is $39/each. I have that memory problem so common among us old folks. To whom it may concern, I would appreciate receiving photos of the Sixtieth Anniversary celebration in France. I would like to feature that in the Thunderbolt coming out in December. Thanks for all you and Bob for our great Website and Mail Call. I have received about $1,400 toward the French Monument. Airborne all the Way, Bob
