Hi Ben:

Just to let you know I am planning on attending the Kissimmee and Savannah reunions. I have to wait on my husband’s (Rick) schedule to see if he will be able to make it. Things have been a little crazy since we moved back to San Antonio, Texas. We are trying to get a house built and of course Rick’s new job is taking up a lot of his time right now and it looks like it is going to be that way for a while.

It is also very strange for Rick and I since our son started college. Our oldest daughter is a teacher in Dallas and our next daughter is in her last year at University of Texas in Austin and now our son is gone!!!

It’s hard to believe that we are now “EMPTY NESTERS” but we still have our 3 dogs.

As always I read “Mail Call” all of the time and I really appreciate everything that you do!!!!!

Heck yes I plan to attend the Florida Mini and the Savannah reunion in August of 2005. I think your request for a head count on who is planning to attend the two Reunions is a good idea so it will give Hal & Helen Beddow and Bob & Millie Christie some planning information. Both couples have been hard at work since our last reunions, they need all the support we can give them.

Ben , read the letter from Karl Locker wanting to know about info. Floyd or I would have on Walt. Sorry to say I did not personally know Walt, if a guy was not in your squad, or platoon, not much contact was made. Floyd might have known Walt but I have no idea. I did know him from reunions though and he was a great guy and a lot of fun. Bob Hart

God willing I will be attending both reunions in Kissimmee and Savannah as they are merely a few hours away from our home. I like the new bold print, it improves my eyesight. Hope to see Art and Ann McAvoy at one of these, her knees should be okay by then. Thanks so very much for Mail Call.
