Hello,
2005 Biannual Reunion
August
15-19, 2005
Savannah, Ga.
Helen and Had
Beddow

Hello everyone,
We are hoping
to see a lot of people at the Savannah reunion.  Hal and I have a revised
schedule of events that I will send for the next mail call.  We have been
attending to a lot of details, and I have to tell you that this is FUN!!
What a wonderful event to be hosting!
The City of Savannah is laid out in
a series of squares, with homes and small businesses built around these
squares.  The beautiful flowers and the Spanish Moss hanging from the trees
really give you a sense of the beauty of Savannah.
The DeSoto Hilton
Hotel sits right in the middle of the Historic District and along side
Madison Square.  I can already see some of you paratroopers sitting at the
Six Pence Pub (which is across the street and two doors down from the hotel)
telling war stories.  The Gryphon Tea Room is just across the square from
the DeSoto, and it is a wonderful luncheon place for the ladies, however, you
certainly see a lot of gentlemen in there, too.!  Wonderful
food.   Also just a few doors down from the DeSoto is the Soho
Cafe......the food is fantastic.  It also has an art gallery, antique
books and art works made by students of Savannah College of Art and
Design.  This also has very good food.  These are just a few of the
galleries and eating places within walking distance of the hotel.  You will
love Savannah!!
We have a lot of things planned
for everyone.  We realize that many will want to just visit in the
hospitality room, but a lot of you may want to be "doing and seeing" things in
Savannah, and that too, will be available.
So.........think
Savannah, August 15 - 19, 2005!!
More information will be coming to
you.

God willing I will be attending both reunions
in Kissimmee and Savannah as they are merely a few hours away from our home. I
like the new bold print, it improves my eyesight. Hope to see Art and Ann McAvoy
at one of these, her knees should be okay by then.  Thanks so very much for Mail
Call.

Dear Ben,
Parts of your mail call are blue-green and hard
for me to read.
But some are in black
which is easy. To early for me to
forecast.

An excellent idea.  At times, I have to use a
magnifier to read the small print.  "Ah youth how I adore thee & old
age how i abhor thee."

About the Author
Marian's first book "Twenty Remarkable Women Seen through Their
Handwriting" will  be published in the near
future.
Marian and her husband, Bill, retired in Little River, California
in 1997.  With Marian's expertise as a Master Graphoanalyst and Document
Examiner and Bill's love  of  history they combined forces to write
"Twenty Remarkable Women Seen through Their Handwriting."
It
has been an exciting seven years, getting to know about these fascinating women
who have such a variety of talents.  The reader will look into their lives
through history and in a unique perspective as we examine their
handwriting.  There will be such women as Eleanor Roosevelt, Queen Victoria, Evita Peron,
Georgia O'Keeffe and Hellen Keller, to name a few.

Marian is the wife of Bill
Brannan "A" Co.

Hi Ben, Thanks for your letter.  I see you are getting my e-mails, but we
are
still not getting Mail Call!! You do have the correct e-mail address for
me.

coming.  We
just got back from a 3 week trip to Sandy, Utah where our oldest son
& family
live.  Tomorrow I will call our provider & check with
them about our mail.
We do have a new home address though.  We moved  to
a bigger apt.   still in the
same town.

Ben:
Thanks so much for the new
print.    It is so much easier on the eyes.   And thank
you for all you've been doing.    You are really
great.    I'm sure everyone appreciates all you do in putting out
Mail Call all the time.
Sincerely, Virginia Jorgen   (widow of Andy Jorgen,

Hi there, Ben -

Like the new format!  And yes, Dad (Allan Johnson, 596) and I are
planning on Kissimmee in January.  I just spoke to Leo Dean (HQ?), and he
is planning on going to the wind tunnel at Orlando again, so I know he's
planning on the reunion as well.

I also know that Dad is planning on Savannah in August 2005, and we really
want to get a contingent together to go back to Le Muy in 2006.  We so
enjoyed our visit, and cannot wait to have other troopers and their families
experience the hospitality and welcome of the people of southern France.
Now that we've been and know the lay of the land, so to speak, there'll be no
stopping us.

Hope all is well with you and my dear Miss Fran - thank you for all you do
-

See you in Kissimmee -

Hi, again, Ben, I called our provider, Data Wave,& for some reason they
had not
sent us our Mail Call, but when I explained to them that we should be
getting
them he checked & they were all there, so he sent them this
morning. It is
very nice to read them again. Thanks much for all your work in
sending them
out to everyone!! You do a great job. Matt Greene G. Co.
