Subject: MAIL CALL NO. 806 517TH PRCT--December 2 , 2004

Hello,

I just talked to Clark Archer's wife  3.00 PM ET and he is not doing well. Prayers for him  should be in our thoughts.

I try to answer all guestbook entries but do not add names to email roster unless requested to do so. Also after three failed attempts to deliver mail  for whatever reason, I remove name from email roster. I will add or delete name when asked.

Ben

John Bramswig

Hello,

I hoped that Jim Mortensen could see if my father in laws name (Ed
Marconi - Company A - 517)  was on his transfer to 82nd list.  I do
know that he did transfer to the 82nd and had the occupational medal.
I just did not know when he transferred.

Regards and thank you,

John Bramswig

Hi Chris: Saw your E=mail in Mail call and can answer the question you ask?  Yes Lou Scaring was in the communication Platoon before your Dad was assigned.  He can tell you about the mules and also the stories of the 18 ozs Gloves?  I had the pleasure of putting then on with Lou and Nate your dad.  Ben stated that the mule story was on the web but i could not find it. I think that the mules you are interested in were the mule that your Dad had in Italy. Hope this helps.  I have had all types of computer problems  AOL etc ready to drop them but first have to see if Comcast High    speed is going to do the job if so will drop AOL 1 Jan 2005.  AOL I am still wwyatt4880@AOL.com and   Comcast:  wwyatt4880@comcast.com . Let me hear from you, 2 Nov went pass 82,  Bud Wyatt

Comments: Mr President, Dear friends, The veterans present in Le Muy on August 15/16, 2004 during the commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the Provence landing this day will remember me to have kindly requested to them to sign stars of our 60-year-old American flag, thus with only 48 stars. I had already had signed the first 24 stars by the veterans who liberated the 1st village of NORMANDY "Ste Mère Eglise". I had reserved to the 24 following stars with you the liberators of the 1st village of PROVENCE "LA MOTTE". Not having been able to meet you in this village, it is in Le MUY, that I finally could find you "the GI S of the 517th, 596th, 460th, 551th, 550th. Unfortunately I was able to get only 12 signatures, thus it remains for me 12 stars to get signed. I plan a trip to the United States to attend a yearly meeting. In order to complete my mission. I am looking for someone to help me. The meeting is planned on April 10/16, 2004 in Palm Spring (CA)or on August 15/19, 2004 in Savannah (GA). I will plan my strip accordingly after I get in touch with my future contact. Thank you so much. A Grateful Frenchman.
