I am sending this mail out now so all can know about the serious condition of Andrew Lubic and offer your prayers for him.  He served with me in "H" Co.  Dot was instrumental with the idea of a 517 website.  At a Kansas City reunion she tried to sign up people interested in a website for the 517.  We got three signatures.  Dot, myself and Lud Gibbons .

I am writing to give you news of Andrew.  He is in the hospital in serious condition.  He developed a bad cold over a week ago and it went to his chest.  We took him to the hospital thinking he was developing pneumonia. He already had problems with congestive heart failure and diabetes.  This has been more than his system can handle. 

He has been in CCU for a week and we thought our chances for partial recovery were pretty good until last couple of days.  He had to be put on respirator and dialysis due to kidneys beginning to shut down.  We were told tonight that things do not look very good. 

We are faced with some major decisions in the next couple of days.  We both have living wills that were drawn up about 5 years ago.  My family and I will respect his wishes no matter how difficult that will be for us to let him go.  We love and respect him that much.

I don't know when I will get back to you because we are spending most hours of the day and night at the hospital so that he is never alone.  He will not be alone when he goes. 

Say a prayer for him that he will have a peaceful next few days.

At one time I had address for Eric and Michel. Then I received an address for Eric which is, I hope, ericrenoux@aol.com.
I sent mail to this address and it has not bounced so you may be able to reach both at this address. Don't have any idea why the old address slipped away.
I have been away from the computer recently. My 47 year old son-in-law contracted cancer and some other unusual lung disease five weeks ago. Edie and I went to his home and to a hospital in Durango, Colo. We brought him to a hospital in Albuquerque Where he died Monday.
Ben I lost this mail somewhere in this machine and wrote another with only Eric's address. When I sent it this one came back. I've been away too long.
