Hello Ben
Would it be possible for you to give me
Howard
Hensleigh's email address as I would like to ask him if
he remembers
anything about the attack on St. Cezaire,
since he was in I
company.
JL
Thank you for your help Ben.
Do you know if there are any other people
around from
I company who may have been at St Cezaire?

Ben, Splendid mail-call. Again my most sincere thanks for your
dedicated service to our CT. I agree wholeheartedly with DICK Seitz'
comments re Tom Cross .Tom has been an exceptional contributor to the success of
our organization. And as Dick opines, he is still very sharp of mind . Witness
his well thought-out comments on additional matters to be brought up at
Savannah , all for the good of our history and brotherhood .. I vote
for Tom. IN A/BBL Bob

Ben,
Who is this Ellsworth Harger fellow? I'm finally getting around to
reading my emails from the past weeks. I read EVERY 517th you send
out. This particular entry caught my attention because Mr. Ellsworth
Harger said he was "jumping (out of a plane) in Green Bay." Heck, I live
in Green Bay. Ellsworth sounds like a real character. If you know of
a way I could contact him (or he could call me at 920-496-5892) I'd appreciate
it. It sounds like Ellsworth has some great pieces of 517th
memorabilia.
Happy 4th to you and yours,
Kenton Floyd Immerfall

Ben,
Thanks for Ellsworth's email address.
I truly did think about coming to the reunion but I'd want my Mother to
come too. I thought it would be good for her to visit with the brave men
who served with her loving brother but Mom still can't deal with Floyd's
loss. I know if I came alone I'd be walking around with a tape recorder or
video camera all the time asking questions of everyone. That could become
quite distracting. I guess what I am trying to say is that I just
appreciate so much what all of you Men have accomplished and I'd want each and
every returning soldier to have his "say" about then as well as what is
important to them now. I will be eagerly awaiting the news of what
transpired at the August event. Enjoy your time with your buddies and safe
treks to you all.
Just an aside...how would I go about receiving another copy of
Parachuter's Odyssey? I didn't realize that the sales of this
book helps generate funds for the 517th. Maybe my nephews would be
interested in a copy.
Sincerely,
Kenton Floyd Immerfall

Thank you, Ben. Nacho was very proud of the
517th.

Ben, In case there are some who didn't receive my first edition of the
Thunderbolt, there is in it Nacho's story and his poem. I will be bringing
extra copies of all my editions to the reunion. An exception is the
Christmas issue last December. The printer didn't send me enough extra copies.

Comments: My brother Bill was
with 517th Parachute Inf. combat team as a medic. Jumped into Southern
France Aug 15th, entered the town of Les Arcs, had to hide out in the cellar
while the French fought the Germans. They didn't want him involved.
He was with the 513th in the states and worked for the army camp new paper "The
Lucky 13". I was with the 11th Airborne Div. in Japan and my CO was Capt.
Ralph Kennis, He was a Pathfinder with the 517th in the jump Aug 15th. Both he
and my brother have passed away in the last few years. Good
men.
