Ben:

    Lest we forget!
This could apply to the 517th PRCT many years ago. I received it from a friend and thought you and my Guys would like to see it. Hope it come through with pictures and voice.
Regards, Tom

-----   This one will puts tears in your eyes, give it time to load and enjoy  Clear Skies  Warren D-8042

Someone put together a flash presentation with music from Ricky Skaggs with an overlay of a little girl talking to her Dad who is a soldier. Whew! This is very touching and really puts things into perspective. This is one of the best done pieces I have seen. Make sure your speakers are turned on. It takes a few minutes to load but it is well worth the wait. Click Here To View. Armed Forces Tribute.

 Hi ben,

Now we receive your mail call and it is wonderful to keep in touch each other.
wonderful job !
we would like to know the e.mail address of Nicole. She was at the reunion with her brother, her aunt, her grand-parents. I think her grand mother is called Patricia Vaught.
If you can't find this young girl, I have her picture.
thanks for your help.
Best regards,
Patricia and Roland Orengo

A great idea! June and I both sing in our church "pickup choir" during
the summer and several times during the year.  I do not sing Base,
baritone or tenor. I sing M & M. That is..."Mostly Melody."

Ben, what's the latest about getting copies of the general's speech?  I would like to have a copy if any are available.  If so, just let me know the cost of reproduction and S & H........Dot

Bob Christie

Ben,  The 3rd. Quarter Thunderbolt copy was sent to our Graphic Artist, Tina Margherio, today. From now to Nov. 20,  I will be accepting copy for the 4th quarter edition. Today, I found a volunteer job relating to the mess from Katrina. We will be making 5000 cookies for the Salvation Army. I turned down a cooking job in a field kitchen. I didn't think I could handle that. (No air conditioning) Bob

I thought you would want to know about this e-mail virus. Even the most advanced programs from Norton or McAfee cannot take care of this one.

It appears to affect those who were born prior to 1965.

Symptoms:

1. Causes you to
send the same e-mail twice. done that!

2. Causes you to send a blank e-mail
! that too!

3. Causes you to send e-mail to the wrong person. yep!

4. Causes you to
send it back to the person who sent it to you. who me?

5. Causes you to forget to attach the attachment.
well darn!

6. Causes you to
hit "SEND" before you've finished. oh no - not again!

7. Causes you to hit "DELETE" instead of "SEND." and I just hate that!

8. Causes you to hit "SEND" when you should "DELETE."

Oh No!

IT IS CALLED THE "C-NILE VIRUS."

Gene Brissey,

To Ben and others, especially Hal and Helen. Extremely sorry to miss Reunion. I have had some problems which I will not go into, except to say that I lost a son-in-law, Have been helping daughter and her two kids. My last visit resulted in serious injury to right arm. This is my first effort to try to type a note to Mail call. One hand typing is not easy. I am trying to use both now. Have read the glowing comments about the reunion. Must have been great. Thanks to Helen and Hal and others who helped. Would have liked very much to have heard General Seitz speak. Hope copies will be available in some form.  Would have liked very much to have seen, Dick Seitz, Tom Cross, Ben, Bob and all the rest, some of whom I have come to know at reunions and Mail Call. Please forgive me for not saying more but arm down through my fingers giving me fits.
