1:30
am Oct fifth 2005. After a few month of problems. Him and his wife Faye
lived in Petoskey Michigan. He will be sadly missed by all of D Battery.

Comments: I have recently obtained the discharge papers of my dad Herbert A. Downs and found that he was in the 517th P.I.R. H Company. He very rarely spoke of his service and we do not have much information. If anyone remembers him, I would like to here from you.
