Hello Ben,

My wife Cathy and I had a wonderful visit with Frederic Brega and Anne-Sophie Deloche from Nice, France  They were in New York and spent a couple of days in Pennsylvania with us.  They talked a lot about the great time they had meeting you and the other 517th members and family at Roland and Patricia home in Sospel and the Parade in Cannes.

While they were here, we got a chance to visit the US Army Heritage and Education Center at Carlilse Barracks, Pennsylvania.  Its primarily a research center but has a very small museum where we found quite a surprise on display that will interest everyone in the 517th.  See the attached photos.  I hope they're not too large to display.

Take care,

Mike Kane

Fred Brega and Pierre Giordano met us at Nice airport and escorted us to Sospel .

Over 3000 cards with a 517th insignia and message on the back were given out to citizens of Belgium and France. We could have given ten times that many if we had them.
