Hello, I am the grandson of John Dewey Caylor. I was on the internet and looking up my grand father. I have always been proud to carry my grandfathers name, and thanks to some of the stories I found on you website it made me even more proud. He never really talked much about the war, and I have always wanted to know as much as I can about these men and the great contribution the gave to this country. I noticed my father wrote to a couple people several years back, and I will tell him he needs to get on here. If any of you guys have a story involving my grandfather I would really appreciate it if you could email me at my66stang@yahoo.com I loved my grandfather greatly and I have read his old books on the war with his writings in them and I would love to know the whole story behind his writings and not have to try to guess and figure it all out. A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THE VETRANS.
THANKS and GOD BLESS.

I just wanted to say a few words about a commencement at St. John's Military School yesterday. I attended SJMS and served on the board in the 1980's with LTG Dick Seitz. I still serve on the board and have manintained a close friendship with him over the last 30 years. I invited him to speak at our commencement yesterday for the 123 corp and not only did he speak about leadership and the lack of it in todays society but he absolutely did an amazing job in his talk. I can only imagine what kind of leader he was and how I'm sure people would follow him anywhere. His health is excellent and what an amazing patriot. I how so much admitation for him.

My father was Joseph M Rubino, Battery D 460th PFA. I have one photo of him that looks like it was taken before he shipped out. I was wondering if anyone had a group photo (or any other photos) of Battery D that they were willing to share. I would also like to send his photo to this site and would appreciate any help in this matter. God bless all those that have served and especially the 517/460/593.

My father, Reynold B. Laeben was in the 517th, H company. I am happy to say I found pictures of him on this site. At the link, "Odas Sweet and Friends, H company Part 2", my father is in the fourth row of photos, left side, in front of the domed building, and he is also in the picture to the left of the horse statue. Thank you Rick Sweet for posting these!
