 My grand father served in the 517 th John W Anderson i have his military papers what all do i need to do to get his name here sad to say he pased in 1986 i would love to honor his memories here and thank you all for sevice to my country.

E-mail: hollomanh@bellsouth.net 		What a wonderful web site! Thanks to all who made it possible for me to learn more about my uncle, who I never had the pleasure of knowing. His name was Pvt. Al D. Baggett, 2 BN HQ. He was KIA Sept of 1944. From Louisiana. He was at LSU on a football scholarship when he enlisted. That sums up almost everything I know about him. If you knew Al, I'd be most grateful to hear your remembrances of him and of your service together. Thank you.

E-mail: jlibb@msn.com 		My uncle Sgt. Robert E. Needham recently passed away and was in the 517th B Co. Parachute Combat Team. I am in possesion of a few items that belonged to him, a few photos (w/ names on the back), a booklet about the 517th w/ some signatures). I am looking for the names of his buddies as I look through this sight. ie: Melvin Biddle of Anderson, In. is one of the signatures in the book. And yes, it was Co. B.

E-mail: vernsgerl@att.net 		My dad was in the 517th Parachute Infantry Regimental Combat Team in WWll His name is Bruce M. Jones, his nickname was "FOXY",I would love any info from anyone who might have served with him or who may be able to help with info or photos. He went into combat in Jan 1945 and served through the war and occupation until they were sent back to states.
